Covid – 19 and our infection control measures

Polaria is open and we do our best for you to have a nice and safe experience with us, but due to the corona situation and the national measures, we must make some necessary changes to our offer. Our highest priority is security for our guests, employees and animals.

Our infection control measures entail:

• Keep at least 1 meter away from other guests and staff.
• We recommend our guests to wear a face mask when visiting.
• We have limited capacity at the seal feedings and in the panoramic cinema. Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee all guests a ticket to the seal feeding during times with many visitors.
• Wash your hands often! Antibac stations are set up in several places in the aquarium.
• We have frequent cleaning and disinfection of all contact surfaces.
• No handling of animals for the public.
• We follow the current recommendations from the National Institute of Public Health and Tromsø Municipality. If you have symptoms of a respiratory infection, you must stay home and visit another day. Take care of each other - together we will get through this!
