Children's Days on Polaria
Polaria invites you to Children's Days May 29th - June 1st!
Leo has moved back in after several months in our quarantine pool, and now he will show off all he has learned while he was gone. At the 12:30 Seal Feedings he will be the star, so if you have missed our baby seal, this is the perfect time to visit Polaria again. At 14:00 we will have a themed Seal Feeding, where we either train the seals underwater or invite some of the public to participate in the training. And as always, we also have Seal Feedings at 10:30 and 15:30.
At 11:30 and 13:30 you can learn about the various sea creatures that live on the shore outside Polaria This will take place at the "classroom tank" at the very back of the aquarium. Here it will be possible to ask questions, and perhaps even get to touch starfish and sea urchins, among other things.
The film "Behind the Scenes" takes you behind the scenes here at Polaria We show this at 11:00 and 12:00, among other times.
On Saturday and Sunday, Fløya Jenter will be on display with a Ferris wheel and café on the 2nd floor above the gift shop. They will also be selling cotton candy and popcorn outside. Polaria .
There will be both a drawing competition and a rebus where it is possible to win nice prizes, and in the gift shop you will get a 20% discount on all stuffed animals.
And on Sunday there will be fish feeding at 16:15 by the large aquarium tank that is home to wolffish and halibut.
Thursday and Friday are Polaria open 10:00 AM – 16:00, and Saturday and Sunday 10:00 – 17:00.
