NEW POLARIA

We are expanding Polaria.

In the spring of 2025, our seals will move into their new home, with three times the space of the current seal pool. Here they will get plenty of daylight through panoramic windows, a private balcony, and an outdoor pool where they can lie down and enjoy themselves in all weathers. We look forward to presenting new Polaria .

SUSTAINABILITY AND PURPOSE

Polaria is a unique Arctic Experience Centre in Tromsø, dedicated to disseminating knowledge about the Arctic and promoting sustainable management of this vulnerable region. Our purpose is to promote the importance of the Arctic and the challenges it faces, especially in light of climate change and environmental threats.

We work with sustainability by offering educational programs and exhibitions that focus on environmental protection, research-based knowledge and conservation of Arctic wildlife. Through collaboration with scientists, local authorities and tourist industry, we strive to inspire visitors to make responsible choices for a sustainable future.
