Training and feeding the seals is one of Polaria's most popular attractions. By booking a seal encounter, you get to assist and participate in the training up close! In addition, you get a tour of the seal pools where we tell you about the different seal species we have, and an introduction to seal training. Training is important to stimulate and develop the animals, as well as strengthen positive behavior. The seal encounter is a unique opportunity to learn more about our seals and have a selfie taken.

Become a seal sponsor and donate money directly to buy new toys and equipment that the seals will enjoy. We have previously purchased an ice cube machine with the sponsor money, which has become a favorite among the Great Seals! By becoming a seal sponsor, you get a unique opportunity to bond with your seal. You will learn how we train the seals and assist the seal trainer during training. Along the way, you will be able to take photos, videos and selfies to immortalize the experience. The sponsorship lasts for one year.

Get up close and personal with our Harbour Seals. This is a unique chance to get up close while the seals enjoy their favorite snack – ice cubes.
