Easter 2024
Easter is here, and we're on Polaria has, as usual, filled the program with many exciting activities.
There will be "On the shore" every day between 11:00 and 12:00 at the classroom tank at the back of the aquarium. There, one of our skilled aquarium staff will be on hand to show off starfish, crabs and sea urchins. You can ask questions, and it's even possible to touch and feel the various sea creatures.
We're continuing with the new "extra" self-training sessions from the winter holidays at 14:00 every day. There will be underwater training where the audience can stand by the various glasses and in the tunnel to see the seal training from a whole new perspective. We'll also have interactive self-guided tours where the public will have the opportunity to participate from the outside, and "seal lab" and "animal training lab" where we tell more about our seals and how we train them. Full program at the bottom of the post.
As usual, we have also set up a fun rebus that is suitable for both young and old. The items are hidden around the aquarium, ask for rebus sheets at reception on arrival. When you have finished the puzzle, you can hand it in to the reception for a small participation prize. We will also draw one lucky winner of another family ticket Polaria to a value of NOK 795.
Thursday and Sunday we have fish feeding in the aquarium at 14:30.
Our three panoramic films "Svalbard - Arctic Wilderness", "Northern Lights" and "Behind the Scenes" are shown regularly throughout the day.
In our new interactive exhibitions, you can learn more about the animals of the Arctic and how all life is connected.
