Fritt Fram!

On Saturday 1 October, the Research Days will be held: Fritt Forward! on Polaria and Framsenteret. This year's focus is the sea, and there will be many exciting activities and competitions at both houses. In addition, you get in for free!

Would you like to join researchers in the lab? Want to learn more about crabs? Or perhaps touch a real shark? Then Fritt Fram is something for you. From 11:00-15:00 on Saturday you can see all this and more Polaria and Framsenteret.

Inside of Polaria there will be crab research and other activities in the classroom, and you can see and feel a real Håbrann (a shark that is almost as big as a white shark) in the foyer. At 1:30 p.m., the researchers take the shark outside Polaria to dissect it. We have also created a puzzle for the little ones, and it is possible to win prizes.

At Framsenteret there will be various activities in Lysgården, and there will be tours inside the lab every half hour. There will also be quizzes and competitions in the library on the first floor of Framsenteret.
